RIP Leo Springer. I remember fondly when you came to the first German Open. Some of you might know and remember Leo Springer.

Last night Leo Springer passed away at the age of 88.

What a sad message! I knew he had health issues On November 10, I still visited him at home and we discussed his health in detail.
We said goodbye warmly and it was very thoughtful of him that he gave me another present for my birthday on November 12th. He still
had so many plans and he wanted to launch a dam book with his large collection of end games. Unfortunately he couldn't fulfill that
